mallpisode
Seth wakes up Ryan and is attempting to cheer him up because of Lindsay leaving. Having none of it, Ryan tells his
chum to shut up and he heads to the bus station in order to surprise Lindsay in Chicago. Inside the house, Kirsten
tells Sandy that she lost her ring. He spends the next few hours taking apart the pipes, trying to find it. Caleb comes by
and opens up about missing Lindsay. Seth finds Ryan at the station and convinces him to go to the mall for the day
instead of taking a 24-hour long bus trip to The Windy City. They accompany Marissa - who is frustrated living with Alex -
and Summer on a mission to find clothes for a charity drive. Once there, they are locked in the storage room. As Ryan
and Seth crawl through the heating ducts, the former overhears Marissa saying that she misses him "everyday." In the
rich world of Newport Living, Kirsten and Julie meet Carter, the new editor of the magazine. He and Kirsten bond
over wine while Julie is confronted with her past: a blackmailing ex who threatens to unleash The Porn Identity (Julie's
frisky foray into the cinema) on the public. Meanwhile, the two ladies husbands are trying to win the plastic ring from
an arcade that Sandy originally used to propose to Kirsten. Ain't that sweet? Locked in the mall, the self-proclaimed
"fantastic four" have a lot of fun and arguments. Seth is upset that Zach wrote Summer a postcard, while Marissa and
Ryan recall the good ol' days. Unfortunately, mall security breaks up the bonding and the quartet leaves for the diner.
Summer shows Seth the harmless postcard and they make up. Marissa, not actually eating anything, and Ryan are also
getting along very well when the show ends. When Kirsten returns from dinner with Carter, Sandy presents her with the
ring. They embrace and it is revealed that Kirsten had simply hidder her real rings. Except for Alex - who is mighty
pissed about not knowing where Marissa is - and Julie, who is upset about her past being brought back up, everyone
is doing peachy keen as this hour closes.
